Zagrebačke pekarne Klara is a Croatian company producing and selling bakery products, bread, rolls and cakes. In the central production plant in Zagreb, more than 150.000 pieces of bakery products are made dailyand distributed to almost 2.500 shops and retailers. The company has been present on the Croatian market since 1909. As a private limited company, organisationally structured as it is today, it was set up in 1994. Although Klara Bakery Zagreb (Zagrebačke pekarne Klara) is primarily focused on the Zagreb area, the company is active in the whole Republic of Croatia. There is the centralised plant in Utinjska Street 48, Zagreb, together with logistic-distribution centre and the administrative headquarters. A worthwhile contact with the market is realised through separate regional logistic centres in Split (Stobreč) and Rijeka (Kukljanovo) as well as by placing own bakery products in the regionof Slavonija. Fresh, long-life and frozen selection of products are sent out dailyfrom the distribution centre in Zagreb whereas regional centres are in charge of long-life and frozen products distribution. Today it is a network of more than 20 retail units situated on attractive locations all over Croatia.
